About
An independent magazine about the culture that happens after dark.
Nocturne is an independent magazine about evenings: the films, concerts, plays and tables worth going out for, and the cities that make them possible.
We write about single screens and jazz cellars, late openings and bistros that start serving at ten. We pay for our own tickets. We only recommend what we would go back to.
The team
Margot Vidal edits the magazine and covers cinema and stage from Paris. Hugo Brandt writes about music from Berlin. Clara Moretti covers tables and city nights from Lisbon.
Every Friday
Our Friday letter lists the evenings worth planning for the week ahead. It is free, and it is short.
